On November 23d and 24th 2018 the basic level of training in “Teaching in Higher Education” organized by the Centre for Teaching Excellence of the University of Prishina “Hasan apRishtina was delivered. The two-day training held at the premises of the Department of English Language and Literature of the Faculty of Philology and lead by the intrernationally cerified trainers of the CTE was attended by 20 professors and assistants from different UP academic units.
During the training, trainees got acquainted with diverse contemporary theories and approaches in teaching and learning which they can apply in their work with students, constantly aiming the advancement of their teaching skills, as well as enhancing students’ results through promoting active learning.
At the beginning of December, the Center for Teaching Excellence will organize the training of advanced level “Planning and Implementing Teaching in Higher Education” for the UP staff who have been certified at basic level.
