University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina” Center for Teaching Excellence has started the implementation of the Project “Through Collaboration and Innovation towards Sustainable Development” funded by the University Support Grants Program of the US Embassy in Prishtina.
On November the 18th 2020, after the workshops dedicated to engaging students online delivered by Professor Laura Cruz, and the workshop on strengthening presence in online environment with Professor Andrea Gregg, as well as the workshop on fostering metacognition in online and hybrid environments with Professor Beate Brunow, the CTE trainers and selected UP staff attended the workshop on transparency in assignment design delivered by Professor Adam H. Smith from Pennsylvania State University.
The participants in the workshop were provided opportunity to examine, analyze, and assess various assignments and discuss with the presenter the importance of transparency in designing assignments that contributes directly to their effectiveness and to the improvement of students’ results in assignment completion.
