Trainers of the Center for Teaching Excellence

University of Pristina in collaboration with partner universities: The University Erlangen - Nurnberg, Germany, University of Linz, Austria, and the Kosovo Education Center – KEC certified a group of academic staff from the University of Prishtina (12 trainers and the coordinator) in Erlangen University in Nurnberg in the following areas: Fundamentals of Didactics in University Teaching, Presentation Skills, Active Methods, and Student Evaluation Procedures and Techniques.

In accordance with the CTE mission and vision, aiming at increasing its training capacities and expanding its pool of certified trainers, the CTE in cooperation with its partners: World Learning and Arizona State University implemented a joint project “Training of Trainers” during the period March – October 2018. The five-stage project delivered in Prishtina and in the USA culminated in the certification of 12 trainers trained in most resent approaches in learning ang higher education, including the integration of most advanced technology in facilitating the learning and teaching process.

Today the Center has the pool of 22 active trainers who are engaged in training the University of Prishtina full-time staff aiming at expanding its activity in training the staff of other public universities, and private institutions of higher education in the country and wider.
