Invitation to apply for the training:
”Teaching in Higher Education”
Pursuant to the mission of the Center for Teaching Excellence of the UP, for the advancement of academic capacities, the development of teaching systems and the promotion of effective and quality teaching, the CTE invites the academic staff of the University of Prishtina to apply for participation in the trainings that will be delivered by internationally certified trainers of the Center.
The modules that will be offered within the " Teaching in Higher Education" training are related to core issues of university teaching such as: Learning / teaching theories, Classroom and group management, Presentation skills, Interactive teaching techniques, Designing learning outcomes, and Student assessment and evaluation.
The duration of the training is two days and is planned to be organized:
- on May 18th and 19th, the call for applications is open to all academic staff interested in training.
Apply by sending email to: [email protected] . Deadline for application is May 16th, 2018 at 16.00.
The staff who will be selected for participation in the training will be notified by email and they will receive the detailed agenda.
Participants will be provided a certificate that will be taken into account in their academic advancement process based on the Regulation on Evaluation Procedures related to the appointment, reappointment and promotion of academic staff of the University of Prishtina.[1]

For activities related to Table 1.4, candidates, full-time employees in the UP should provide evidence that they have successfully completed at least 2 trainings for teaching.
