University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina” Center for Teaching Excellence has started the implementation of the Project “Through Collaboration and Innovation towards Sustainable Development” funded by the University Support Grants Program of the US Embassy in Prishtina. The travel restrictions that delayed the implementation of the project, turned out to be the advantage. After having restructured the project activities and having modified them for online delivery, the first training of the series of professional development workshops dedicated to engaging students online commenced on October 26th, 2020 with the session delivered by Professor Laura Cruz. The next three workshops will be held online on Thursdays from 18.00. The guest presenters will be the colleagues of our expert, professors from Pennsylvania State University, who will engage with their colleagues from the University of Prishtina in tackling issues relating to strengthening presence in online environment, fostering metacognition in online and hybrid environments, as well as assessing student learning, all of the topics of great interest in the changing needs in teaching and learning due to the situation with the pandemic, but beyond it as well.
